Transport Accident and Incident Investigations

The purpose of the safety investigation is to prevent accidents and incidents in the future and not concerned with apportioning blame or liability. A safety investigation is independent of any judicial or administrative proceedings to apportion blame or liability, unrelated to, or affected by it.
